Only 25 miles away from the city, this is definitely a place for you to visit once you’ve moved into your new place in Westchester, or even while you’re still scouting the market.

Rockefeller State Park Reserve

Designated as an ‘important bird area’, the state park is situated in Sleepy Hollow. It is a perfect retreat for the nature lovers among you. Although, if you’ve made the move to Westchester, you will find that in general it is a much more scenic and rural county than NYC, it’s still nice to have a place to go hiking, unwind and observe the natural fauna.

It might be a theatre play or a major musician on scene. So, if you’re moving to Westchester, be certain to drop by and enjoy a nice evening out.
