Your stress-free storage in 4 steps
Storing with Empire Movers & Storage is simple with our four-step process. First, you reserve your storage space by reaching out to us via phone or email. Then, our team will create a personalized storage plan just for you. Next, we’ll take a photo inventory to ensure everything is accounted for. Finally, our project manager will oversee everything, making sure your move goes smoothly and efficiently.
Reserve Storage
All of our services are provided by our own highly- trained workers. Since we do not outsource, you don’t have to worry about any fluctuations in quality.
Get Storage Plan
The assigned Empire Project Manager will work with your staff’s main point of contact to develop a numbering & placement scheme for both the origin & destination side of your move. Immediately prior to the move we will then label/tag all contents on the origin side and hang destination placards on the destination side to ensure proper placement of your contents.
Create Photo Inventory
Immediately prior to the move our team of professional movers will prep your contents for the actual move. We will protect all furniture that requires it and disassemble all furniture that requires it.

This is a note of appreciation for Empire Movers. We were uncertain about our moving date because we needed approval of the buyer from the board of our Manhattan co-op and did not want to leave the apartment bare in case it had to go back on the market. Empire was flexible and adjusted the date for us a number of times. When we were ready to go, their crew arrived when promised and packed everything carefully and professionally. Some pieces were being given to a relative in Virginia near DC and the balance to Aiken SC. The Virginia pieces were loaded last so they could be delivered first. Empire made the move as stress-free as possible for us and all was very well done. Pricing was transparent and very reasonable, with no surprises.

Charlie and Vlad handled my apartment move like true professionals. I’ve used several companies before, but these guys were by far the best movers in NYC. They were punctual, careful with every item, and made sure everything arrived safely. They even helped rearrange some of my furniture without hesitation.

CHEATERS!! I went with Empire because I had heard great things and the reviews overall looked good. First, they messed up my move date and then they tried to cheat me out of my dedicated truck. Initially, I went with a shared move but in the end decided to go with a dedicated move instead because I felt more comfortable knowing the truck was dedicated to moving only my items from NY to NC which I paid extra for. However, on the day of the delivery, I learned there had been other items on the truck for another customer that were delivered before I received my items. That my friends is not a dedicated move that is a shared move and a difference of $1000. I tried speaking to the supposed owner Florin but he wanted to gaslight me and proceeded to tell me how unhappy I was and I was just looking for a reason not to pay. Which, by the way, I never said I wouldn't pay for the move but I'm not going to pay an extra $1k for what was supposed to be a dedicated move for it to actually, be a shared move. Ever heard of double dipping, lol. Not to mention while I'm on the phone trying to discuss this with him he is charging my card without reviewing the billing with me. The only good thing that came out of this is both the NYC and NC movers themselves were great and very polite!!

I was so happy I chose Empire Movers and Storage Corp to handle my move. The movers were on-time, professional, and polite...they had all the right equipment to get the job done quickly.
